Work with experienced addiction treatment professionals to recover from nicotine and tobacco addiction.
George Kolodner, M.D.
ADDICTION PSYCHIATRIST, MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Distinguished Life Fellow American Psychiatric Association, Distinguished Fellow American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. George Kolodner has been working to improve access to effective treatment for people with alcohol and drug problems since 1973, when he established the first outpatient addiction rehabilitation treatment program. That model, called “intensive outpatient” or “IOP,” has become a cornerstone of current addiction treatment in this country. Now extending this work with a focus on addiction to nicotine, he has designed an innovative treatment program that builds on traditional methods of addressing other addictive substances.
Dr. Kolodner was recently appointed the Co-Chair of the Nicotine and Tobacco Special Interest Group of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He is also a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Jennifer Dorsey, NCC, LPC, LCPC
CLINICAL DIRECTOR / PSYCHOTHERAPIST
spanning over two decades in the addiction treatment and mental health fields, Jen has made significant contributions to the well-being of those seeking support and healing.
Jen's passion for addiction treatment began in 1999, and she earned her independent clinical license in 2010, marking a pivotal milestone in her career. Since 2007, Jen has been honored to work in multiple behavioral health organizations, including Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in various roles, including Therapist, Clinical Director, Regional Clinical Director, Chief Clinical Officer. Educationally, Jen holds a master's degree in counseling psychology and pursued post-masters work in community mental health counseling.
Jen's personal journey of recovery has been at the heart of her passion and commitment in the field. Having attended addiction treatment and then getting sober in 1997, Jen faced another challenge with smoking, a habit she picked up at a young age. While Jen smoked throughout her active addiction, it wasn't until she entered recovery that her smoking became daily, at 1.5 packs per day. Despite overcoming her initial struggle with tobacco in 2002, Jen experienced a relapse in 2013, concealing her tobacco use from friends and loved ones. Recognizing the importance of seeking support, Jen turned to the medical community and her close connections for help. Drawing on her resilience and determination, she successfully quit smoking and has remained nicotine and tobacco-free since then.
As a mom herself, Jen recognizes the unique struggles and complexities that mothers may face in their journey to recovery. Understanding the intricate interplay between motherhood, addiction, and societal expectations, Jen is an advocate for shame and guilt work within the context of quitting tobacco and nicotine. By addressing these emotional aspects head-on, she empowers mothers to overcome internal barriers and cultivate a sense of self-compassion, fostering a healthier and more sustainable recovery. Jen's openness about her personal struggles adds a unique and relatable dimension to her work, fostering a connection and understanding with those she supports.
Jen's excitement to be part of Triple Track Treatment stems from her belief that this program represents a cutting-edge solution for those seeking to break free from the grips of tobacco and nicotine. By embracing a multidimensional approach, Triple Track Treatment aims to enhance the effectiveness of nicotine addiction treatment and maximize the chances of sustained recovery.
